Precision ball detent torque limiter series designed to protect rotating machinery from an overload. In the event of an overload the torque limiter will quickly and accurately disengage at a pre-set torque value and trip an optional limit switch. Available in single position and random reset versions.
Friction type torque limiter economical to operate and maintain. In the event of an overload the torque limiter will slip. Once the overload is removed, the unit will continue to transmit torque. Available in many different configurations including shaft couplings.
